Hackers should go to Washington At the LinuxWorld conference, Stanfard Law professor Lawrence Lessig called on hackers to put away their technical arguments and fight to keep the Internet open against vested interests (big business, government, Microsoft, and the publishing industry). He also argues that only open source has a vested interest in stopping patent abuse and protecting innovation.
